Bio
David Triggs is an Information Technology Strategy Consultant, based in Sydney,
Australia. He brings to this role IT industry experience in a variety of
technical, pre-sales, consulting, and solution marketing roles which have
included performance analysis and benchmarking, design of highly available
Unix transaction processing systems, and consulting on Internet security
and IT strategy. Most of these roles have involved the deployment of leading
edge technologies, and have frequently involved managing teams of technical specialists.
David holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computing Science, a Bachelor
of Engineering awarded with Honours (B.E. Hons.) in Electrical Engineering,
and a Master of Cognitive Science (M.Cog.Sci.), all from the University
of New South Wales, Australia. He is a member of
the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the IEEE
Computer Society, and
a
life member of The American Association
for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and has a particular interest in how
information systems can be made more intelligent, and how human-computer
interaction can be made more effective.
